SHS Student Paper Competition were recognized at a lunch on Monday, Feb. 20. They also presented their research before attendees. The winner of the graduate paper competition is Shoshana Hahn-Goldberg (second from left) from the University of Toronto. The paper is “Dynamic Template Scheduling to Address Uncertainty in Complex Scheduling Problems: A Case Study on Chemotherapy Outpatient Scheduling." The winner of the undergraduate paper competition is Eulisa Rivera (second from right) from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. The paper is “Consistent Detection of Cancer Biomarkers with Linear Models." SHS Conference Chair Mary Ellen Skeens stands at the far left. Ashlea Milburn, the Student Paper Competition chair, stands on the far right.
