On behalf of the 2012 Institute of Industrial Engineers South Jersey Delaware Valley Professional Chapter (IIESJDVPC) No. 132 Officers and Directors, and myself, 2012 Chapter President, we welcome you to our web site. This is the official web site for your local IIE Professional Chapter information.

Founded in 1948, IIE is the world’s largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession. IIE is an international, nonprofit association that provides leadership for the development of industrial engineering. IIE provides education, training, certification, technical information and other relevant resources for industrial engineering professionals.

Our IIE South Jersey Senior Chapter was chartered in 1963. In 2008, we expanded our Charter to support northern Delaware and northeast Pennsylvania. We are the largest local professional network dedicated to the industrial engineering professions. Our members advance the field of Industrial Engineering and their careers using the most complete and up to date technical education, best practices, sharing of professional experiences, and learning new technologies and their applications. We accomplish this through our first class technical programs on the ‘hot’ topics of the day and great plant tours of interesting facilities throughout the Delaware Valley.

Our Professional Chapter is a Gold Award winning Chapter. Our Professional Chapter Members are the key to our success. We have dedicated professional members from all businesses and industry areas that are committed to providing the leadership and leadership opportunities for you to advance your career. Many of our members are senior engineering and management professionals willing to share their success in supporting your career goals. I invite you to become engaged in our various programs, or you can start your own. You will not find better Technical Dinner Meeting Programs, Plant Tours, Student Outreach Programs, Career Workshops, and other community affairs and events. The success of our Chapter is due to the continued efforts of our dedicated professional volunteers.

Our Platinum Award winning JUST IN TIMES NEWSLETTER has set the standard for excellence in communicating and informing our members of our many activities and accomplishments. The information is timely, announces our programs, provides great articles, supports career development, and provides education and job opportunities. We welcome your articles and commentary in our newsletter, because we value your inputs. Our Board of Directors meet monthly and provide goal setting and programming that “makes things happen” for all of our members. You are invited to all of our meetings as a valued IIE South Jersey Delaware Valley Professional Chapter Member.
