Program

This one-day program targets strategic issues in supply chain management. The widening of the Panama Canal is going to change the supply chain patterns for just about every business in America. We will begin with a keynote from Jim Tompkins giving a high level view of the role of supply chain management and the challenges facing all organizations in the years to come. We will follow with senior leaders from other organizations such as Steve Buffington from The Coca-Cola Co., Kyle Hancock from CSX Transportation and Jim Metzger of FedEx Ground speaking to the challenges and plans they are making as this significant change to the supply chain and its logistics takes place.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Upon request, IIE will award continuing education units (CEUs) to participants who attend the educational sessions and complete the CEU request form. The Institute of Industrial Engineers has been reviewed and approved as a certified provider of continuing education programs by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. For the day program .6 CEUs earned and Professional Development Hours (6 PDHs) are also available.
