Conference Committee Meeting Schedule: The entire committee meets every other month via phone. Track chairs, day coordinators and conference chairs meet monthly via phone.

Recent Activity

• Selecting presenters and reviewing presentations for the Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference 2013 that will be held March 1-4, 2013, at the Sheraton Canal Street in New Orleans, La.
• Collaborating with the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) on partnership opportunities at the conference
• Planning SHS’s 25th anniversary celebration, that will take place on the evening of Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Sheraton Canal Street in New Orleans, Louisiana
• Preparing a display board of SHS’s history, including history of the use of improvement methodologies in the healthcare setting
• Planning networking events, such as table topics, which will take place at the conference and allow attendees to discuss solutions to current challenges
• Presenting webinars featuring a speaker who will present in more detail at the conference
• Developing and implementing a strategy to share information about the conference via social media
