SEMS Management Award

Do you have a friend, colleague, or employee who deserves recognition for his or her accomplishments in the practice of management and industrial engineering? If that person is a member of IIE, then he or she is eligible to be nominated for the SEMS Management Award. Recognition by peers makes a powerful statement regarding the value of one’s services. Please take advantage of this cost-effective way to give someone that deserved recognition.

The SEMS Management Award is presented at the IIE Annual Conference each year. The award recognizes an IIE member who has distinguished him or herself in the practice of management and industrial engineering. The award recipient receives a plaque and one-year complimentary SEMS membership (a $35 value).

Nominations are now being accepted for the SEMS Management Award, to be presented during the SEMS Town Hall Meeting at the IIE Annual Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from May 18-22. To nominate an IIE member, send a testimonial (one-page maximum) explaining why this person should be honored along with a detailed bio or resume of the nominee to Geert Letens, past president of SEMS at geertletens@yahoo.com.
