IISE Student Chapters – YouTube Video Contest

Sponsored by the IISE Industry Advisory Board (IAB)

 Purpose
To promote the industrial engineering profession to high school students, teachers and college counselors.

 Format
Streaming video published onto YouTube that complies with fair use of copyrighted materials guidelines in the English language or with English subtitles.

 Length
10 minutes maximum; 3 minutes minimum

 Content
Create a video presentation which would excite high school students to select ISE as a profession.

Deadline is Feb. 17, 2017. 

Prize
$1,000 for winning video provided by the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, Industry Advisory Board (IISE-IAB), a group of professional industrial and systems engineers from more than 30 companies throughout the United States. Additional prizes subject to additional voluntary contributions by IISE-IAB membership. Awards will be present during the student mixer at the National IISE Conference.

Conditions
All submitting entries will be judged by an IISE-IAB Committee. Winners will be notified by April 24, 2017. All rights for the winning entry will be owned by IISE. Content of production must be submitted in the English speaking language or include English subtitles and meet fair use of copyrighted material guidelines endorsed by YouTube. Only one submission per university campus (if university has campuses in various cities/towns, each campus may submit one entry).

E-mail the YouTube website address to view your online video and send two DVD copies in AVI or MP3/4 format mailed to IISE Headquarters postmarked by the contest deadline.
