Ronald C. Prince Vice president, process management Macy's Logistics and Operations
Ronald C. Prince is vice president of process management for the Macy’s Logistics and Operations. He is responsible for Six Sigma strategic direction and implementation. Prince has an extensive 31-year career in industrial engineering, quality assurance and operations with Lockheed Martin, NCR Corp. and Macy’s. He also is a certified master black belt experienced with more than 21 years of experience in lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Prince holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology and a master’s degree in quality assurance.

Tom Knight Founder Invistics
Tom Knight is the founder of Invistics, a provider of proven consulting and software solutions that help high mix manufacturers improve profitability. As CEO, he has overall responsibility for the company's solution and operations strategy. Prior to founding Invistics in 1999, Knight spent 10 years improving supply chains as a manufacturing executive at Alcoa and Siemens. He holds three degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). An industry subject matter expert, Knight has authored numerous articles on improving manufacturing performance and serves as chairman of the National Science Foundation’s Small Business Innovation Research Advisory Committee.

Dan L. Shunk, Ph.D. Professor Department of Industrial Engineering Arizona State University
Dan L. Shunk, Ph.D., is a professor in the industrial engineering department at Arizona State University. He also is the PIMSA Chair at CETYS University in Baja, Calif., and an adjunct professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan in Como, Italy. From 2002 to 2003, he was a Fulbright Scholar in Ireland at the University College Cork developing strategies for the Irish food and pharmaceutical industries. He is the former director of the CIM Systems Research Center, which won the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) LEAD Award as the best CIM research center in the world in 1990. He is currently pursuing research into global new product development, model-based enterprises and global supply network integration. His book is Integrated Process Design and Development.
