Dr. Hamed K. Eldin Outstanding Early Career IE in Academia Award
Recognizes individuals in academia who have demonstrated outstanding characteristics in education, leadership, professionalism and potential in industrial engineering. The award recognizes engineering contributions in application, design, research or development of IE methods by early career IIE members. This award is sponsored by Integrated Systems Technology.
Eligibility
IIE members within six years of their first full-time academic appointment after earning a doctorate degree and within 10 years of their doctorial degree granting date on the Dec. 1 nomination deadline. IIE members serving at the Director level or above, or on the IIE Board of Trustees and Honors Steering Committee are ineligible while serving.
Criteria
Nomination process
- Complete and return the nomination form.
- Submit the nominee’s resume with the nomination.
- There is a 10 page limit to each nomination, not including reference letters.
- Supply three letters of recommendation from individuals who can serve as professional references. Letters not to exceed two pages each.
Judging
This award is judged by CIEADH.
