Welcome to the Western Region (Region 7) Home Page
Look to this website for up-to-date (kind
of) information for
IIE Region 7.
Region 7 is the largest geographic area
within the US which includes the states of
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii,
Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon,
Utah, Washington and Wyoming. We support 16
accredited Universities within these states
which include; Arizona State, Cal State Fresno,
Cal State Hayward, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Poly SLO,
Cal State San Jose, Colorado State, Montana
State, New Mexico State, Oregon State,
University of Arizona, UC Berkeley, University
of San Diego, USC, University of S. Colorado and
University of Washington.
As of October 2006, our Region has over 1,700
active IIE members of which 1,300 are part of a
local Senior or Student Chapter with an
additional 400 members who currently reside in
the geographic states but belong to Members at
Large.
The mission or our Region is to offer value
to all of our 1,700+ members by offering a
connection point which represents the needs,
concerns and support efforts of the Western US.
